Driver, passenger hospitalized after rollover collision in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A driver and a passenger were sent to the hospital after a rollover collision on Interstate 35 near Southeast 89th Street on Thursday.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol told News9 the incident unfolded around 11:30 a.m. OHP said the driver of the vehicle crashed into a center wall and crashed into a light pole. The vehicle overturned and came to rest in the northbound lanes.

EMS crews transported the driver and passenger to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Officials shut down I-35 and have since reopened the area.
