A woman and her passenger were injured after a DUI collision, an April 16 article of Enid News & Eagle reported.
The incident happened at 4:52 AM Thursday, at the Cheyenne-Arapaho Campground. 37-year-old Ella Mae Turley was driving her 2006 Chrysler Town and Country when she went off the road and struck a tree. She was taken to Okeene Municipal Hospital with an injured arm. Also, her passenger 48-year-old Vincent Jack Peek was also taken to the same hospital. Authorities found the smell of alcohol on Turley, so they classified the incident as a DUI.
