Driver strikes pedestrian in Tulsa’s west side

TULSA, OK – A driver struck and injured a female pedestrian near 51st St and Union Ave Monday, KTUL reports.

According to police, the woman, who they claim was impaired, walked out in front of the driver around 10 p.m.

First responders transported the victim to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash took place in a poorly lit area. Police believe that may have played a role in the collision.
