DUI crash causes gas leak near S Sheridan and E 12th

TULSA, OK – An arrest has been made in connection to a drunk-driving crash that damaged a gas line in east Tulsa early Wednesday, reports News 9.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the area of South Sheridan Road and East 12th Street, which is just south of US-66 and the Glenhaven area.
Police say that a man was likely intoxicated when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a fence and a gas line.
Emergency crews worked promptly to contain the leak, and police arrested the driver. The suspect’s name has not been released to the public at this time.
No injuries have been reported in connection to the crash.
