Duncan PD investigates fatality crash at OK-7, Halliburton

DUNCAN, OK – A fatality has been reported in connection to a major crash that happened Sunday in west-central Stephens County, reports KSWO 7.
Sometime in the afternoon, emergency crews responded to the area of OK-7 and Halliburton Drive in southeast Duncan, which is about 80 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.
Police haven’t yet determined the cause of the collision, nor have they disclosed the number of vehicles involved or the manner in which the vehicles impacted.
One person, they say, sustained fatal injuries. The victim’s name has not yet been released the public.
It’s unclear if anyone else sustained injuries in the crash.
Officials likely closed lanes in the area of OK-7 and Halliburton while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
A full investigation is underway.
