Early morning highway collision reported in Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a trucking accident along Interstate 44 near downtown early Wednesday morning.
According to News 9, the crash happened along I-44 eastbound just before the Pennsylvania Avenue exit. Officials say a large semi-truck jack-knifed blocking all of the eastbound lanes.
The incident also caused a fuel spill forcing firefighters to clear the area while the fuel could be cleared from the road.
No injuries were reported as a result of the crash. Although traffic was blocked for a number of hours during the cleanup and investigation causing major delays for rush-hour commuters.
