Edmond officials save man after mower tips into pond

EDMOND, OK – Officials with the Edmond police and fire departments were called to the scene of a maintenance worker who was involved in a lawnmower accident Friday morning.

According to KOKH, the individual was trapped underwater when his riding mower was tipped over into the pond.

Police officers arrived and were able to hold the man’s head above water so he was able to breathe while they waiting for fire crews to arrive. Upon thier arrival on the scene, fire officials extracted the man from the water.

Luckily the man was not injured as a result of the incident.

Details regarding the precise location of the accident and the identity of the individual involved have not been made public.
