EMS responds to possible injury crash at 61st and Memorial

TULSA, OK – An ambulance responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision at a busy intersection in southeast Tulsa on Thursday evening, reports Fox 23 News.
The incident occurred sometime before 7:30 p.m. at 61st Street and Memorial Drive, which is northeast of Boots Adam’s Park and west of the Burning Tree neighborhood.
There’s no word yet regarding the cause of the accident or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted.
Photos taken at the scene indicate that a navy sedan may have been involved. A red sedan was also spotted at the scene along with a fire truck and an ambulance.
It’s unclear if there were any fatalities or if anyone involved in the collision required hospitalization.
The accident appeared to block the roadway while emergency crews gathered evidence and worked to clear the scene.
