On July 9, News Channel 4 reported that a three-year-old child died in Oklahoma City after being hit by a vehicle in a McDonald’s parking lot.

Reports mentioned that the fatal accident happened around 1:00 pm. on Northwest Expressway. Police Captain Dee Patty said a 3-year-old boy that was walking with his mother and another sibling suddenly began running. A car entering the McDonald’s parking lot struck the child, causing fatal injuries.

The mother, along with another child, were struck by the vehicle, but only sustained minor injuries. Capt. Patty observed that the parking lot design of McDonald’s makes it difficult for drivers to see oncoming people. The franchise owner expressed sympathy to the victims and said that they will cooperate with the police investigation.

The Oklahoma personal injury lawyers of the Abel Law Firm send their deepest condolences to everyone affected by this tragic accident.
