Father And Son Dead After House Fire

A man and his son died after their house caught on fire, a January 14 article of KTEN reported.

The incident happened in a home in the 15800 block of South Angela Street around 11:00 PM. First responders found 74-year-old Ronnie Trout outside his home while a neighbor performed CPR on him. Also, his 40-year-old son Robert was found inside. They were taken to the hospital, but they were pronounced dead on arrival. Their bodies have been transported to the medical examiner’s office to be determine their identity and their cause of death. An investigation concluded the the blaze was triggered accidentally by a heater that shorted out.
