Female driver runs stop sign, causing injury crash in Canton

CANTON, OK – A female driver ran a stop sign, which resulted in an injury crash that took place on the outskirts of Canton before 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
KECOFM said a 36-year-old woman was driving west on Highway 58 when she ran a stop sign and collided with another vehicle going north on Highway 58. The vehicles came to rest on a southbound lane on OK 58 just outside OK 51.
The other driver, who was identified as 28-year-old Kasidee Hooker, was uninjured. One passenger of Hooker’s was injured, while the other was not.
The stop-sign runner was left with unspecified injuries and has since been identified as Silvia Hurlbut from Enid.
