A female motorcyclist died after losing control of her motorcycle, a February 28 article of Oklahoma’s News 4 reported.

The incident occurred on Friday, in I-40, Custer County. 65-year-old Vonnie Long was driving her 2020 Harley-Davidson with a 65-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man on the Exit 71 off-ramp. They failed to negotiate the curve causing them to crash. Long lost control of her motorcycle which rolled over and threw her off. Meanwhile, the 67-year-old man was ejected from his motorcycle and the 65-year-old woman careened off the left side of the road and hit a sign. This caused her motorcycle to also roll over and eject her from it.

The 67-year-old was sent to Alliance Health Center due to his head and internal injuries. Also, the 65-year-old was taken to the same hospital but she was later transferred to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center for similar injuries.

Unfortunately, Vonnie Long was pronounced dead at the scene.
