Fiery collision in SW OKC claims two lives, damages business

SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Two lives were claimed, and a business was damaged as a result of a fiery collision in Southwest Oklahoma City on Friday.
Oklahoma City police confirmed that the events unfolded after 12 a.m., when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Southwest 29th Street and South Western Avenue, KFOR reports. The force of the collision caused one of the vehicles to plow into El Rancho Western Wear.
The vehicle that crashed into the business caught on fire, and the two individuals inside, a male and a female, succumbed to their injuries. Oklahoma City fire crews have not confirmed the identities of the victims.
The establishment was said to have sustained $500,000 in damages and will be closed until further notice for the necessary repairs.
