Garbage fire spreads to a home in Southeast Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials in Southeast Oklahoma City responded to a fire that spread from the trash to a residential home early Monday morning.

The fire was started near the garbage dumpster and spread to the roof of a home at the intersection of Southeast 44th Street and South Eastern Avenue, according to News 9.

Everyone in the home was able to escape without sustaining any injuries as a result of the blaze. No word on what may have started the trash fire has been released as of yet.
