Head-on collision in Lawton claims life of 71-year-old woman

LAWTON, OK – A 71-year-old woman from Medicine Park died as result of a head-on collision that happened along Lake Lawtonka on Wednesday, KSWO reports.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol confirmed that the 71-year-old female driver drifted onto a northbound lane on State Highway 58 and crashed head-on into another vehicle.

The Medicine Park woman died from her injuries. She has since been identified as Susan May. It’s unclear if the other driver was injured.
