Hit-and-run at SE 44th and S Eastern injures 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A pedestrian went to the hospital on Sunday morning after a vehicle struck them at a busy intersection in Oklahoma City, reports KFOR News. 

The incident happened around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Southeast 44th Street and South Eastern Avenue, which is just east of I-35 and west of Akers Park.

Police say the vehicle fled the scene after running over the pedestrian. At this time, they do not have any information to share regarding a suspect in the collision.

The victim went to a local hospital for treatment. The severity of their injuries is unclear at this time.
