Hit-and-run crash at MLK and 23rd in NE OKC kills 1

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Police are looking for a driver that fled the scene of a fatal hit-and-run accident in northeast Oklahoma City on Friday, reports News 9.
The accident happened at night in the area of North Martin Luther King Avenue and Northeast 23rd Street, which is west of I-35 and northwest of the Ralph Ellison Library.
Authorities haven’t yet released the victim’s identity, and it’s still unclear if the crash involved a vehicle and a pedestrian or two vehicles. Additionally, police haven’t provided a description of the suspect or of the hit-and-run vehicle.
Officials urged drivers to avoid the intersection of North MLK and 23rd while police gathered evidence and crews worked to clear the scene.
