Hit-and-run crash at Monroe and Cantwell kills OSU student

STILLWATER, OK – One person died Thursday from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run collision at a busy intersection in Stillwater, reports KOCO News 5.
The incident happened just after 10 a.m. at the intersection of Monroe Street and Cantwell Avenue, which is on the north end of the Oklahoma State University campus.
Police say that a vehicle struck and killed a student before leaving the scene. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
Officers identified the hit-and-run vehicle as a white, four-door pickup truck with damage to the front end. Additionally, they’ve arrested a 22-year-old suspect in connection to the accident.
