A homeless man died after being struck by a car, a February 29 article of News On 6 reported.
The accident took place in West 41st Street and Gilcrease. The police reopened the area this morning after investigating a crash that involved a car colliding with a man in the middle of the street. The driver said she was traveling to work when she accidentally crashed into a man. She then turned around and called 911. Troopers found an ID card for a local shelter on the victim, leading them to believe he was homeless. The man’s identity has not been released.
