OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Oklahoma City Police took one man into custody after he ran his vehicle into a police car northwest of Oklahoma City Tuesday night.
The incident happened near the intersection of Northwest 23rd Street and North May Avenue at about 11:00 p.m., according to News 9.
Authorities believe the suspect was huffing a type of aerosol chemical before the collision. He was apparently parked in the same spot earlier in the day. When police checked on him for the second time, the man refused to exit his truck.
While attempting to coerce the man out of his car, he put the vehicle in reverse and rammed into the front of a police cruiser. Officers were then able to subdue and arrest him using a “less lethal” force.
Details regarding the identity of the man involved have not been released as of Wednesday afternoon.
