Indiana man killed, Florida man injured in 2 big rig collision in Miami

NEAR MIAMI, OK – One man was killed, and another was injured in a double big rig collision on Interstate 44 West near Miami on Sunday.
The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. near the Missouri and Oklahoma State lines, according to KOAM News Now .
Oklahoma Highway Patrol did not specify the cause of the crash, but said one person was pronounced dead at the scene, and another individual was injured.
The deceased was identified as 53-year-old Alejandro Martinez from Indianapolis, Indiana, and the injured as 21-year-old Angel Ferrer-Delgado from Brandon, Florida. OHP confirmed both wore seatbelts, but did not say which driver was responsible for the crash.
At the request of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the Missouri Department of Transportation closed the highway lanes going into the state for several hours before reopening all lanes at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
