Injuries reported in 18-wheeler crash on I-44 near Memorial

TULSA, OK – Police and emergency teams responded to an injury collision involving a semi-truck Wednesday afternoon in southeast Tulsa, reports Fox 23 News.
The two-vehicle accident occurred sometime before 4:30 p.m. along the eastbound side of I-44 near Memorial Drive, which is southeast of Terrace Park in the Audubon area.
Authorities haven’t yet specified what caused an 18-wheeler and a silver passenger vehicle to collide on the interstate.
At least one person was hurt; it’s unclear if they required hospitalization.
The collision likely caused delays along eastbound I-44 while emergency crews assisted the victims and worked to clear the scene.
