Injuries reported in crash at SE 59th and S Hiwassee in eastern OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Crews responded to a major collision with injuries at a busy intersection in far-east Oklahoma City early Thursday evening, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident happened sometime before 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of Southeast 59th Street and South Hiwassee Road, which is just northeast of Lake Stanley Draper.
There’s no word yet on what caused the collision or how many vehicles were involved.
Drivers likely experienced delays in the area while crews helped the victims and worked to clear the wreckage.
