Injuries reported in crash on I-40EB at Council Road in W OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency crews responded to an injury accident along the interstate on the west side of Oklahoma City Wednesday evening, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident occurred sometime before 6:40 p.m. on the eastbound side of I-40 at Council Road, which is just southwest of OKC Outlets.
Police haven’t yet updated the public regarding the cause of the collision, the number of vehicles involved, or the severity of the injuries sustained.
Motorists likely experienced delays along I-40 in the area of the crash while crews attended to the victim(s) and worked to clear the scene.
