Injuries reported in crash on NW Expressway SB at Council Rd in NW OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency crews responded to a major injury collision along the Northwest Expressway in northwest Oklahoma City Thursday afternoon, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident happened sometime before 4:50 p.m. on the southbound side of the Northwest Expressway at Council Road, which is just northwest of Silver Springs Pointe shopping center.
It’s not yet clear how many vehicles were involved or what caused the accident.
Drivers likely faced delays along the southbound side of Northwest Expressway while crews investigated and worked to clear the scene.
