Injuries reported in crash on NW Expy at Independence in NWOKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a major accident with injuries Thursday morning in northwest Oklahoma City, reports TTN Oklahoma City.

The incident happened sometime before 9:20 a.m. on the eastbound side of the Northwest Expressway at North Independence Avenue, which is at the northeast corner of INTEGRIS Baptist Health Medical Center.
There’s no word yet on the cause of the accident or the number of vehicles involved. Additionally, it’s unclear if any of the victims required hospitalization.
Drivers likely experienced delays along the eastbound side of the Expressway while police gathered evidence and crews worked to clear the scene.
