Injuries reported in Edmond collision

EDMOND, OK – Officials in Edmond have reported injuries resulting from collision along Interstate 35 during rush hour Thursday evening.

According to the official Twitter page of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the incident occurred within the southbound lanes of I-35 near 2nd street just before 4:15 p.m.

Officials were forced to close the roadway for 2 hours following the crash. No word on how the incident occurred has been released as of yet. This situation is still developing and we will provide any further details as they are made available.
