Injuries reported in head-on crash on US-75 near Owasso

TULSA CO., OK – At least two people were hurt last Thursday in a wrong-way collision along the highway in northeast Tulsa County, reports News on 6.
The accident occurred in the afternoon along US-75 near 96th Street North, which is west of Owasso and about 11 miles northeast of Tulsa.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a northbound vehicle entered the southbound side of the highway and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle.
Medics transported both drivers to area hospitals with injuries of unknown severity.
It’s unclear if either vehicle was carrying additional passengers at the time of the collision.
Officials closed the southbound side of US-75 while emergency teams worked at the scene.
