Injuries reported in Kilpatrick Turnpike crash

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Authorities north of Oklahoma City responded to an injury accident along the John Kilpatrick turnpike that closed down one lane during rush-hour Tuesday evening.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Twitter page, the accident occurred on the inside lane on the Kilpatrick Turnpike eastbound near North May Avenue at about 4:30 p.m.

Details regarding what may have caused the crash or how many individuals sustained injuries as a result has yet to be released.

The inside lane was closed for a short time but has since been reopened.
