Injuries reported in North OKC vehicle fire

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials in North Oklahoma City have reported injuries as a direct result of a collision and ensuing fire late Thursday afternoon.
The collision occurred on Northeast 50th Street near the intersection with North Lincoln Boulevard just before 3 p.m., according to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker.
Details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash or the severity of injuries sustained as a result have not yet been made public. Officials are advising motorists to avoid the area as delays and closures are likely going into Thursday evening’s rush-hour traffic.
