Injuries reported in Southwest OKC vehicle fire

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials southwest of Oklahoma City have reported injuries resulting from a collision near Independence Avenue Wednesday evening.

According to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker, the collision occurred near the intersection of Southwest 44th Street and South Independence Ave.

No information on the cause of the fire or severity of the injuries sustained as a result has been released.

Motorists have been advised to avoid this portion of SW 44th Street as delays are likely throughout Wednesday evening’s rush-hour.
