Injuries reported in two-vehicle crash on Meridian near NW 28th

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency crews responded to an injury collision early Thursday at a busy intersection in northwest Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
The two-vehicle accident occurred around 6 a.m. along Meridian Avenue near Northwest 28th Street, which is west of I-44 in the Windsor Hills area.
Police haven’t yet commented on the cause of the crash. Video footage taken at the scene suggests that a red SUV and a white pickup truck were involved.
At least one person was injured, but it’s unclear how badly they were hurt and if they required hospitalization.
The collision blocked both sides of Meridian Avenue for at least an hour while teams assisted the victims and worked to clear the scene.
