Injuries reported in Uptown collision at NW 39th and N Classen

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Officials reported injuries in connection to a two-vehicle collision that happened Monday at a busy intersection in the Uptown area of Oklahoma City, reports KOCO News 5.
Around 7 a.m., emergency crews responded to Northwest 39th Street and North Classen Boulevard, which is north of Memorial Park and west of I-235.
Police haven’t shared any details about the cause of the collision or the manner in which the two vehicles impacted. Additionally, it’s unclear how many people were hurt and if they required hospitalization.
Footage taken at the scene indicates that a gray SUV may have struck the back passenger side of a silver SUV. The gray vehicle sustained damage to its front end.
Motorists likely encountered delays in the area of the crash while crews worked at the scene.
