Injuries reported in west Oklahoma City collision

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Emergency services reported injuries resulting from a multi-vehicle collision west of downtown Oklahoma City during Friday evening’s rush hour.

The crash occurred at about 5:40 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Reno Avenue near its intersection with South Council Road, according to the Oklahoma City response and accident tracker.

Further details regarding the crash and the extent of the injuries sustained have not yet been released. Officials recommend that motorists avoid the area throughout Friday night as delays are likely.
