Lawnmower, pickup collide at SE 12th and Eastern, killing 1

MOORE, OK – A man sustained fatal injuries on Labor Day in a crash involving a lawnmower and a passenger vehicle in northwest Cleveland County, reports KOCO News 5.
Sometime Monday afternoon, emergency crews responded to the area of Southeast 12th Street and South Eastern Avenue in the city of Moore, which is about 11 miles south of Oklahoma City.
Police say that for unknown reasons, a man was riding a lawnmower in or near the roadway when he collided with a pickup truck.
Medics transported the lawnmower operator to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim.
The driver of the pickup did not sustain injuries in the accident.
No charges have been referenced so far.
