Major crash at OK-76 and OK-29 in Foster critically injures driver

FOSTER, OK – Medics airlifted a woman to the hospital early Wednesday morning after she crashed her vehicle along the highway in southwest Garvin County, reports The Duncan Banner.
Police reported to the scene of the accident at Highway 76 and Highway 29 in Foster around 4:10 a.m. This is west of Elmore City and south of Purdy.
The investigation indicates that the driver lost control of her northbound Nissan Pathfinder at the intersection, at which point her vehicle left the roadway and crashed into an embankment.
The woman sustained a head injury in the accident and was listed in critical condition at OU Medical Center.
The report thus far has not referenced any other vehicles.
The investigation is ongoing.
