Man, 26, dies following crash near Copeland

NEAR COPELAND, OK – A 26-year-old man died as a result of a crash that occurred in a cattle pasture near Copeland on Friday, FOX23 said.

The collision took place before 8:30 p.m. off East 220 Road and South 590 Road.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol did not specify the events leading up to the crash, but said the impact of the collision led the 26-year-old male passenger to succumb to his injuries. He has since been identified as Dustin Aaron Underwood, a Fairland resident.

OHP confirmed the driver survived and was uninjured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
