Man, 34, arrested for DUI following wrong-way collision in SW OKC

SOUTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A 34-year-old man was arrested for DUI following a wrong-way collision in Southwest Oklahoma City on Friday.

News9 said the incident unfolded around 5:30 a.m. off Southwest 59th Street and Walker Avenue. A driver of a black SUV was driving east in the westbound lane and crashed head-on into another vehicle.

Oklahoma City police identified the arrestee as Julian Manzano, but did not specify whether he was the driver of the SUV.EMS crews rushed a person to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Officials cleared broken glass and debris from the freeway.
