Man, 40, killed in rear-end collision in Maud

MAUD, OK – A 40-year-old man was killed in a rear-end collision that happened at the intersection of State Highway 59 and EW 1290 Road before 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
According to KOCO, one driver crashed into the back of the 40-year-old man’s vehicle. The 40-year-old man, who was driving at the time, drifted off the road. Moments later, his vehicle overturned.
The 40-year-old man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. He has since been identified as Justin Wood from Konawa.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol did not confirm if they arrested the driver or specify the contributing factors behind the crash.
