Man, 49, killed in pedestrian-vehicle collision in OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A 49-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian-vehicle collision that happened in Oklahoma City on Sunday morning, News9 said.
The 49-year-old identified Corey L Williams, an OKC local, was walking across the northbound lanes of Interstate-235 when he was struck by two vehicles.
The impact of the crash led Williams to die from his injuries.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified the drivers as a 23-year-old woman, an OKC local, and a 19-year-old woman from Edmond.
No citations were reported for them.
Officials have not confirmed why Williams was walking on the interstate to begin with and have not provided further commentary with respect to this incident.
