Man Arrested 6 Months After Fatal Crash

Six months after a fatal car accident that killed three people police have arrested the man allegedly responsible for the crash.

15 year-old Kyler Blagg was driving north on U.S 169 near Delaware with his mother, 44 year-old Amy Blagg, when he swerved to avoid a southbound 1950’s Chevrolet Bel Air, which was trying to pass two vehicles. Blagg’s car slid off the road to the right and then overcorrected left of the center line, striking a Lincoln Town Car head-on.

The driver of the Bel Air fled the scene, but investigators have connected the unique car to Charles Strong Jr. after witnesses had seen the man drinking at a bar before the collision. The evidence was enough for a Nowata County District Judge to issue a bench warrant for Strong’s arrest.
