OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was arrested after a pursuit with police ended with him crashing his car into an unoccupied home Tuesday night, according to Oklahoma’s News4.
At 9:50 p.m. an Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputy and an OKC police officer initiated a traffic stop on 30-year-old Kendrick Jarvis, after noticing him making an illegal lane change on I-40.
After requesting his driver’s license, Jarvis took off.
Police pursued him for a short time. The pursuit ended at S. Portland Avenue when Jarvis lost control of his vehicle and crashed into an occupied house.
Jarvis fled the scene of the accident but was arrested soon after.
Jarvis was taken to the hospital, then booked on complaints of malicious injury and destruction of property, eluding police, driving with a suspended license, unsafe lane change, and leaving the scene of an accident.
