NORTHWEST OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was charged with two counts of murder in connection with a deadly head-on collision that occurred earlier last month.
News9 confirmed the details on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The collision occurred on Tuesday, Sept. 12. Preliminary details show that the man, identified as Aaron Taylor, was driving on Wilshire Road with Siera Gamble, the mother of his child, when he intentionally swerved into the opposite lanes of traffic and crashed head-on into another vehicle.
Gamble and the other driver, Jonathan Woolridge, died from their injuries at the scene.
Taylor had physically assaulted Gamble and forced her to get into his vehicle prior to the collision, police said.
Gamble’s mother also claimed that Taylor told her via a phone call that he was “I’m going to end this right now,” prior to the collision.
Taylor himself was left in critical condition after the crash and was transported to a hospital for treatment. He was released and then taken to the Oklahoma County Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
Taylor also faces one count of kidnapping. Initial court records revealed that law enforcement arrested Taylor in 2022, involving a domestic violence issue with Gamble. His case was later dropped.
