Man dead, child and 2 adults injured in rollover crash near Idabel

MCCURTAIN COUNTY, OK – A man was killed and another was injured in a rollover car crash near Idabel in McCurtain County on Friday afternoon, according to information from KFOR.
The crash happened on Old 21 Road near Ridge Rock Road at around 3:38 p.m., when the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado, 34-year-old Broken Bow resident Bradley Lappin, failed to round a turn in the roadway. The Colorado then skidded off the left side of the road and overturned, landing on its top.
Lappin, who was ejected during the accident, died at the scene.
47-year-old Idabel resident Tarrous Lewis, a passenger, was taken to the hospital for the treatment of critical injuries.
A 7-year-old girl from Idabel who was riding in the vehicle was taken to the hospital, then later released.
A third passenger, a 36-year-old woman from Idabel, was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time.
