Man dies after Beckham County rollover crash

BECKHAM COUNTY, OK – A man died as a result of a rollover crash this afternoon near Erick, OK, according to a report by KFOR.
The accident happened around 12:10 p.m. on Interstate 40 East when a 1997 Ford Ranger blew a tire. The driver was unable to maintain control of the Ford, and it ran off the side of the road and rolled over. It landed upright on its wheels, according to the report.
The victim is Jerry Keith Mabry, 67, of Amarillo, TX, who was a passenger in the vehicle. He was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident, and was ejected in the collision.
Mabry was admitted to the hospital in critical condition and died there around 1:30 p.m.
The driver of the Ford was not injured and was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
