Man dies in rollover crash near Shawnee

SHAWNEE, OK – A man is dead following a rollover collision on Interstate 40 near Shawnee Friday night, according to KFOR.

The accident happened just before 6 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-40, about four miles from Shawnee, when the 38-year-old driver of a 2004 Ford F-150 lost control of his pickup truck. The truck flipped over multiple times, collided with a tree, then landed on its side.

The victim was ejected about 10 feet from the pickup and died in the collision. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened.
