A man was injured after his pickup truck crashed, a January 13 article of Shawnee News-Star reported.

The incident occurred around 9:20 PM Sunday, in State Highway 66. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 30-year-old Rustin Eric Bender was driving his 2001 Nissan westbound when he failed to manage a curve, careened off the roadway, and struck a guardrail. Bender’s car then flipped over several times before coming to a stop on top of the guardrail. Also, it ejected Bender 70 feet. Afterwards, he was airlifted by AirEvac to OU Medical Center.
