Man found dead after shed in Oliver Park South area catches fire

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – A man was killed when a shed caught fire in the Oliver Park South area this morning, according to reports by KFOR and the Oklahoma City Fire Department.
The fire occurred at S Shields Boulevard and SE 44th Street at about 7:50 a.m., when a shed caught fire.
A man who lived in the shed was found dead at the scene. His identity was not immediately released.
While initially witnesses believed that a second victim may have been inside the structure, a search of the shed revealed no other people inside.
The shed was destroyed as a result of the blaze, which also caused significant damage to a nearby RV.
Bystanders at the scene reportedly tried to help hose the fire down.
Arson investigators are searching for the cause of the blaze at this time.
