Man Hit by Own Truck While Clearing Ice Off Windshield in Owasso

OWASSO, OK – A man was struck by his own truck while clearing ice off its winshield in an Owasso parking lot on Monday afternoon, News Channel 8 reports.

The incident occurred just before noon in the parking lot of Reasor’s Pharmacy at 11815 E. 86th Street North.

Witnesses say the man started up his truck and then exited the vehicle to begin clearing the windshield when the truck began rolling forward.

The man apparently attempted to brace himself against the truck to stop it but it ultimately rolled over him. A passerby got into the truck and pulled it off the victim.

Police responded to find the man unresponsive. His condition is currently unknown.

Authorities are investigating to determine what caused the vehicle to roll over the man.
