Man, horse injured by hit-and-run driver in NE Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — A man and a horse suffered injuries late Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle in northeast Oklahoma City, according to KFOR.
The incident occurred in the 800 block of North Sooner Road. First responders arrived on the scene shortly before midnight.
Few details have been released at this time, but a man was riding a horse when both the man and the animal were hit by a driver who fled the scene.
Both the man and the horse sustained minor injuries, confirmed officials. It was unclear whether the victims were transported to any hospitals or facilities.
